When building a new scent for Aurelia I always begin with a memory. How it felt on those late summer evenings growing up in the UK, or the giant waffles covered in chocolate at Saint Remy sur Durolle, or maybe the dark and handsome man who shared his cigarette with me outside of that bar in DC.

For me, scent is a feeling translated into a formula. Often, I find myself brimming with ideas that have been crafted from everyday experiences or interactions. It is not always choice but emotion that drives my creativity. If I cannot be transported back to the time in which I associate the fragrance, then I have not done my job. The room will not do its job either.

I am honored to have you join me in this journey through time, space, and memory.
